Functional Movement Training

Description
With advanced education and training in human anatomy, human physiology, and movement sciences, we at Performance Fix are uniquely qualified to assess and identify deviations from normal movement and changes in physical performance which have developed as a result of an illness or injury. The underlying causes of movement dysfunction are vast and usually involve an interruption of the delicate interaction between the musculoskeletal, neurological, and cardio-respiratory systems of the body. We design a treatment plan for each client to restore normal movement and promote a return to the individual’s prior level of function. We incorporate strength training, flexibility and mobility exercises, balance and coordination exercises, as well as posture and breathing techniques that help clients reach and maintain optimal movement and function. The pain care, rehabilitation and education we provide, lead to health maintenance and injury prevention.
