*NEW* Blood Flow Restriction (ADD ON SERVICE)

Description
Blood Flow Restriction (BFR) training is the brief and intermittent occlusion of venous blood flow while at the body is at rest or exercising. Traditional strength and hypertrophy training follows the mechanical tension model, which requires that sufficient load (65-70% of a person's 1 rep max or 1RM), must be placed on a muscle to induce adaptive changes. Unfortunately, these types of loads aren't realistic nor are they recommended for populations rehabilitating imbalances and recovering from injury. With BFR training, muscle size and strength can be increased using loads as low as 30% of a person's 1RM, making it ideal in the rehab setting. Additionally, the use of BFR, can help preserve muscle mass and prevent muscle atrophy during times of inactivity, bedrest, and the earlier phases of recovery.
